Chestnut is a shy little terrier mix who weighs 22 pounds and is about a year old. Rescued from a high-intake shelter in California, he came to us with his brother after being found as a stray. While he hasn't had the best start, he's learning that life can be better. Chestnut is a sweet boy with the potential to become a wonderful companion. He has a short coat that shines in shades of yellow and tan. It's important to note that Chestnut does take some time to warm up to new friends, so patience and gentle encouragement will be key for his new family.
