About Sharkleberry
Say hello to Sharkleberry, a wrinkly, happy Shar-Pei who comes in at a sturdy 50 pounds. She’s outgoing and loves just about everyone she meets. Though she’s good with many dogs, Sharkleberry’s big, playful energy can sometimes overwhelm older pups who aren’t up for an energetic wrestling session. She’s fully potty trained and will settle in a crate with a bit of encouragement—though she’ll always prefer a cozy couch or bed. Sharkleberry is very treat-motivated and learns quickly, adjusting happily to gentle corrections. Her ideal family includes a chill canine companion (or two) who enjoy a relaxed, social home. She’s known as a vigilant protector—always alert, ready to check out any noise at the door (and might put on a tough act!). If you’re away during the day you’ll need to keep her safely kenneled—she’ll chew just about anything left around, from plastic to dishes. Sharkleberry also has a knack for chasing squirrels and climbing trees and fences, so a secure yard and supervision are a must. She’s got quirks, but her loving, clever personality makes her more than worth the effort. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
