Humphrey is a young, medium-sized male Hound with a short coat and brown/chocolate coloring. He is already spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and eager to learn. Residing in Hollister, MO, he is ready to find a loving home where he can thrive.

About Humphrey

Meet Humphrey! This young Hound came to the shelter as a stray and was never claimed. Initially terrified and flea-infested, he has started to blossom thanks to a caring volunteer who took him into foster care. When Humphrey first arrived, he was shivering in fear, unsure of who to trust. After settling in at his foster home, he slowly grew comfortable and now shows his playful side. He gets along well with older kids and his human foster siblings, as well as the resident dog and cat; while he was initially scared of the dog, they now play together just fine. Humphrey has learned his name and can come when called, but he’s still mastering sit and leash walking. Having been a stray his entire life, he is likely to form a strong bond with his future family. Humphrey is a silly pup who can't wait to find his forever home! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
