About Aggie
Meet Aggie! Aggie is a one-year-old mixed breed, part German Wirehaired Pointer and part Schnauzer. At 40 pounds, she has a medium frame perfect for various family activities. Rescued from the streets of Houston, Aggie is a bright spot in any room. She's affectionate and loves the outdoors, playing happily with her friends at the Rescue Ranch. Although she can be shy with newcomers, she warms up quickly and enjoys showering you with kisses. While she does get along well with dogs, she’s not recommended for homes with cats. Kid-friendly, she does jump a little when excited, so it may be best for her to join a family without young children. Aggie is crate trained, house trained, and smart, meaning she will thrive with a patient owner who can help her settle in. She walks well on a leash, using a harness. Currently, she's recovering from heartworm treatment but is expected to be back to normal activity shortly. She's spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, ready to bring her loyal companionship to her forever home. Aggie is looking for a loving family who understands she just needs a little time to adjust and find her comfort. Click apply to start the adoption process.
