Darla is a low-energy cat who thrives in a calm environment. She’d flourish in a quiet home where she feels safe and secure. Food is the key to her heart, and she’s been warming up beautifully to her foster mom, revealing her sweet nature. Smart and perceptive, she can sense when you’re near and communicates with little noises; though primarily, she prefers listening. Despite her blindness, she faces challenges bravely, even confronting the vacuum cleaner without a hint of fear. Darla has beautiful large eyes and a gentle disposition. She’s still learning to trust, and with time and patience, she will show you how much love she has to offer. Her previous owner had to enter a nursing home that doesn’t allow pets, so now, she’s seeking a loving family. While she hasn’t been tested with other animals or children, she would best be suited as a companion in a gentle, quiet household that can provide her the care she requires.
