Elijah’s a big kitty and we call him our gentle giant. He’s an absolute sweetheart whose sole mission in life is to give love and affection. Elijah’s an FIV+ (Feline Immune Deficiency Virus) cat but did you know that the vast majority of FIV-positive cats live long, healthy and happy lives? FIV-positive cats can also live safely in a household with non FIV positive cats provided they get along. FIV sounds very scary but it’s not easily transmitted to other cats and cannot be transmitted to humans or other pets. With routine veterinary care we don’t see a reason for Elijah not to live a great life.
