About Big Bopper
Big Bopper, affectionately known as Devo, is currently in Martinez, CA. This delightful 3-year-old American Bully mix weighs in at a solid 52 pounds and has been neutered. He embodies joy and is eager for every adventure. Rescued from a Houston shelter's euthanasia list, he now flourishes in a loving foster home in Austin, Texas, and is ready for out-of-state adoption! Bopper is a true toy enthusiast. Balls, ropes, stuffies—whatever it is, he wants to play. He absolutely loves games of fetch and tug, and he has a charming way of inviting you to join the fun by running around with a toy. His zest for life is infectious; whether you’re playing together or just hanging out, he thrives on companionship. This friendly pup is very dog-friendly, living happily with both male and female dogs. He's learning to respect personal space; a calm and balanced canine companion in his new home would help him sharpen his social skills. While he's crate-trained, he may bark a little initially but settles down quickly. A family with children 12 and older would be ideal, particularly those who understand dog boundaries, as he can be quite energetic during play. As a brachycephalic breed, Bopper may snort a bit when excited, so it's important to keep him cool in warmer weather and avoid strenuous exercise in the heat. Big Bopper is a goofy, loving companion ready for a life full of fun and laughter. If you’re looking for a spirited friend with a big heart, this playful pup might just be your perfect match.
