About Bruno
Bruno’s the kind of dog that greets life with a tail wag and a little spark in his eyes. Despite a tough turn—his previous owner fell on hard times—Bruno holds onto his sunny outlook and is ready for a new home. A proud mix of American Staffordshire Terrier and American Bully, he’s short-coated and a bit stocky but athletic enough to keep up with any adventure. You’ll find him happiest near water; he loves splashing around at Chrissy Field and Point Isabel just as much as a good toy session. Bruno fits right in with both kids and adults, and he enjoys the company of other dogs. With cats, he’s still figuring things out, but he’s curious rather than reactive. House-trained, crate-trained, and a quiet traveler in the car, Bruno is affectionate without being overwhelming. He takes treats gently from your hand and settles down for a cuddle just as easily as he romps outside. Bruno’s looking for a family or foster home where he can share his gentle presence and steady, happy energy. Your new best friend is just one click away.
