About Solar

Solar came to us as a baby puppy in 2022 after a life-threatening situation. Recently, he was returned on October 10, 2026, because his owner couldn't provide proper care due to homelessness. Now just under five years old, he weighs 59 pounds and has the appearance of a typical terrier hound mix, but don’t let that fool you; he has the potential to be a wonderful companion. He enjoys walks in the woods and strikes a balance between being athletic and calm. Solar gets along well with both dogs and children and knows basic commands, making him a great fit for a family. He is also housebroken. A meet and greet is necessary if you have another dog. Plus, he’s tested negative for heartworm. If you’re interested in adopting, please contact Alexandra at 330-261-3934. The adoption fee is $100 and includes his neutering, updated vaccines, and microchip. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
