About Odin

Meet Odin, the gentle giant with a playful charm! This stunning 2.5-year-old merle Great Dane is not just large in size; he has a huge heart and an even bigger personality that’s waiting to shine. Found wandering a desert town, Odin wound up in a shelter facing an uncertain future, but he’s now on the hunt for a loving home. This affectionate boy needs someone patient to help him navigate new experiences, as he’s still learning about the world around him. While he can be shy initially, with your kindness and support, his goofy side will begin to emerge. He’s been known to be affectionate with everyone he's met and would thrive in an environment where he can socialize properly with other dogs. A quirky highlight? Odin loves sticking his giant head out of car sunroofs, enjoying the breeze like the king he thinks he is! Safety first, though—he’ll need to be securely fastened during rides. Odin’s ideal home is with someone experienced with Great Danes or large breeds who can help him build confidence through trust and encouragement. He’s looking for a patient, caring family that enjoys gentle adventures and wants to introduce him to all life has to offer. Though he may have a mighty stature, beneath those beautiful merle markings lies a sensitive soul yearning for love. Could you be the one to help Odin discover how wonderful life can really be? Let’s make his next chapter the best one yet. Apply to adopt Odin through Healing Hounds Rescue!
