Maggie is a stunning 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix looking for a new home. She's been diagnosed with heartworms, which sounds daunting, but doesn't worry—heartworms are not contagious and are treatable! Maggie will start her treatment soon, and we hope to find her a loving home before that begins. The sooner you bring her home, the sooner you can bond and enjoy her playful energy! Don't forget, her heartworm treatment is covered through our foster-to-adopt program. Maggie is full of life and loves treats, toys, and, surprisingly, socks. For her size and enthusiasm, a home with kids aged 8 and up would suit her best. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she is not fond of cats. Currently, she uses potty pads but will need to learn a new routine in her future home. She's accustomed to roaming freely and is eager to cuddle up when it's time to relax.
