About Mercury
Meet Mercury! Mercury is a gentle soul with a big heart. Once he knows you, he becomes incredibly loving and loyal, thriving when curled up close by your side. This sweet dog forms deep bonds and seeks to be near those he trusts. While Mercury can be a bit nervous around new people and sounds, he's looking for a patient family to help build his confidence through positive experiences. He takes a bit longer to warm up to men, but with time and understanding, he will trust you wholeheartedly. One of Mercury's favorite things is being around other dogs! He's wonderfully dog-friendly and will thrive in a home with a confident canine companion. Having another dog helps him feel secure as he learns to navigate new experiences. Mercury can also live with a cat, as long as the feline is used to dogs. He does have a tendency to chase if his cat friends run, so a dog-savvy cat that stands its ground is ideal. Crate trained, he prefers to snooze on the floor beside your bed at night rather than in a crate. On walks, he’s a pleasure, maintaining a good pace with just a slight pull. Due to his sensitive nature, Mercury is best suited for an adult-only home where he can grow at his own pace. With a calm environment, a confident dog friend, and compassionate humans supporting his journey, he will blossom into a dedicated, loving companion. If you’re searching for a kind-hearted friend who needs someone to believe in him, Mercury could be the perfect match for your family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
