About Kirby Nathaniel David
Kirby David has a scruffy terrier look and warm amber eyes that catch the light. He’s eight and a half, still eager to chase squeaky toys and loves a good dig for hidden treasure. Walks are a highlight, but so are lazy afternoons curled up near his favorite person. If you’re into dressing up your dog for the holidays, Kirby is a willing sport, patiently tolerating any costume you throw his way. Kirby’s not for first-time adopters. He needs someone with experience—ideally a patient, dog-savvy woman—who understands how to help a shy, nervous dog thrive. Meeting new people makes him uneasy so expect to visit several times before he’ll be ready to go home. Once he trusts you, his affectionate side comes out in full. He’s brought out the best in the team at the shelter; he has a loyal following of staff and volunteers who call him “the love of your life” kind of dog. Kirby should be the only animal in the house. He gets overwhelmed by other pets and needs an environment focused just on him. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. A portion of his adoption fee is sponsored by a dedicated volunteer. Give Kirby a bit of patience and you’ll get wholehearted loyalty in return. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
