About Bear

Meet Bear! Bear is a sweet and cuddly boy, ready to blossom into an amazing companion for the right person. He can be shy around new people and places, but with a little patience and encouragement, he warms up quickly. Bear absolutely adores other dogs of all sizes and is making progress coming out of his shell, thanks to the support of his furry friends. While neighborhood walks may overwhelm him, he finds joy in quiet nature hikes and walks well on a leash or long line. He has excellent recall and is good in a crate, plus, he's house trained when given proper supervision and an age-appropriate schedule. Bear would thrive in a calm household with a patient owner who can help him navigate his fears with gentle encouragement. He would love to accompany his human on camping and hiking trips if given the right support. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
