About Sandy
Sandy is a charming little lady just under a year old and weighing around 10 pounds. Dubbed a Pomeranian, she has a beautiful sandy coat and a fluffy, curly tail that adds to her cuteness. Coming from a past that lacked socialization, Sandy is a bit shy, but she’s gradually opening up. She's found solace in her foster home, where she gets along well with most of the resident pups, though the rowdy puppy can be a bit much for her. Sandy thrives with room to run in a secure, fenced yard and would love a friendly canine companion to play with. She's full of energy, especially when chasing her foster sisters around the yard at high speeds. Her vocal nature means she’s not suited for apartment living. Sandy is learning to come when called, and while she uses a puppy pad when needed, she hasn't yet figured out the dog door. This sweet girl sleeps quietly in her crate beside her foster mom at night, though she can be a little destructive when left alone. For her forever home, Sandy needs someone who can be present most of the day, as she’s not comfortable being crated for long periods. A calm environment without young children would suit her best, as she prefers a quieter approach to life. Sandy may be shy, but she’s eager to explore the world, especially if it means finding someone with the patience to help her. Could you be the one to give her the love and stability she deserves?
