**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. This little low rider is such an adorable little weirdo. He’s 4 months old and approximately 15 lbs. He loves his crate and is doing an amazing job with potty training with a doggy door. Bon Jovi has one big quirk. He prefers dogs to people. He’s looking for a home with at least one, would love two, other playful dogs. He takes a while to warm up to humans. I’m not sure he will ever be a snuggly dog, but time will tell. He loves being outside and playing with other dogs. He’s looking for a family without small kids, because he needs people who can respect his boundaries. His ideal home (so far, he’s still new) is one where he’s mostly treated like a cat. If you want an independent pup who can give you lots of joy as you slowly teach him the world, he’s your man! Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
