About Smokie

Meet Smokie! Smokie is a loving, clever gentleman who knows exactly how to win you over. This affectionate boy thrives on pets and attention, and when bedtime rolls around, he’s happy to curl up beside you and purr the night away. He communicates with expressive meows, making it easy to understand his needs. Curious by nature, he’s got a knack for figuring things out, including how to navigate doors and cabinets, so be prepared for some playful surprises! While Smokie appreciates cozy spaces next to his favorite person, he also enjoys playful moments. You may need to coax him into games, but a fishing-rod toy will likely spark his inner hunter. Though he can be a bit cautious when new things come his way, he explores at his own pace, prioritizing comfort and safety. Smokie would love a home where he can bask in affection and share his daily routines with someone who appreciates his charming personality. At 12 years old, Smokie truly deserves a comfortable home to enjoy his golden years with love and care. He has a dental cleaning coming up to address some current dental disease, and he has a mild heart murmur that will require monitoring. Recently, he’s been overgrooming and developing skin irritation, so his care team is looking into that as well. With regular brushing and attention to his health, along with all your love, Smokie promises to be a wonderful companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
