About DaffODilly

Meet Miss DaffODilly, or "Dilly" as her foster family affectionately calls her. Dilly is a gentle soul, previously a breeder dog, now retired and looking for her forever home. At six years old, she’s slowly discovering the comforts of daily family life. Dilly has never before experienced home living, so she needs a family that can provide her the space to explore and settle in at her own pace. Her ideal home includes a confident canine companion who can guide her through this new chapter. Dilly gets along well with her foster dog brother and has learned a lot from him about being a pet. She enjoys the company of another dog, and while she does bark at the cat in her foster home, she hasn't shown any aggression. With patience, she could happily coexist with feline friends. Each night, Dilly sleeps quietly in her kennel, keeping it clean. She has a strong food motivation and adores chew toys and treats. A fenced yard is essential for her to feel secure; she isn't quite comfortable with leash walking yet, as she prefers to do her business in the yard. Though she's initially skittish around people, Dilly warms up gradually. Interestingly, she shows a preference for children over adults, and with time, she’s likely to blossom into a sweet family companion.
