About Maya

Maya is a young Husky mix who came to the shelter as a stray alongside another dog named Millie. While they get along well, they don’t need to be adopted together. We estimate Maya to be about 2 years old. She weighs 62 lbs and is already up to date on her DA2PP and bordetella vaccinations. Although she is not yet spayed, she is on the vet's waiting list. If she isn't spayed before adoption, her fee includes a $75 voucher for the surgery at any vet of your choice. In a shelter environment, it’s hard to assess housebreaking status, so it's safer to expect she may need some training. Maya has interacted well with other dogs; however, her compatibility with children and cats is unknown since there are none at the shelter. We recommend bringing your kids, dogs, and even cats for a meet and greet just to ensure everyone gets along before taking Maya home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
