About Susan Arriving D
Meet Susan, a gentle and sweet girl who embodies the beauty of life's simple pleasures. She loves a cozy couch, a good belly rub, and spending quality time with her favorite person. Susan is content just lounging by your side as you go about your day, appreciating the comfort of your presence. A bit shy when meeting new faces, she'll warm up over time. She's not one for busy environments and would thrive with a family that allows her to settle in at her own pace. Once she bonds with you, she'll return your affection and enjoy your company quietly. Susan enjoys the company of cats and stays relaxed around other dogs. She’s also familiar with livestock and poultry and may be suitable for homes with children, although she's still untested in that regard. While she's generally quiet, she may have the occasional comment at night. Susan has some basic commands down and walks nicely on a leash. She's working on her potty training, so patience will be key. Not one to crave endless adventures, Susan prefers nice walks and cozy napping spots. She has particular tastes in food, so her new family should be ready to help her find meals she enjoys. If you’re seeking a low-key companion who appreciates the quiet moments in life, Susan could be the one for you. Susan is from Texas and will arrive in Minnesota on 10/24/2026. She will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between 8:30 - 11:30am. Please plan accordingly as pickups outside of this window cannot be accommodated. Until then, she is available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt Program. There may be further veterinary care needed upon her arrival, and as her foster, you will be responsible for transport. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
