About Nona
Meet Nona! This sweet-natured 5-year-old Belgian Malinois mix has a heart of gold and deserves so much more than what life has offered her thus far. After spending too long confined to a backyard, Nona was surrendered to the Downey Animal Shelter, where she faced an uncertain fate on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, Concerned Citizens Animal Rescue took her in, giving this deserving girl a second chance. Nona is gentle, affectionate, and playful. She adores playing fetch and is happiest when chasing a ball or bonding with kind-hearted people. She has lived with children before and gets along well with other dogs, provided she has time for proper introductions and confidence-building. Notably, Nona is already house-trained and can be comfortably left alone for several hours without stress. She's also mastering leash-walking and is gaining confidence as she explores the world beyond her previous confines. Though her lower front teeth bear the marks of neglect, Nona’s ability to love is undiminished. Currently thriving in a loving foster home, she is discovering the joys of being part of a family. Nona deserves a home filled with love, adventure, and stability. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to brighten your life, Nona might be your perfect match. Let’s make her next chapter the best one yet!
