After months of recovery, Bruno needed help learning to trust and socialize, so his caregivers placed him in a two-week board and train program. Now he knows leash manners and follows commands like 'leave it' and 'let's go.' Bruno is a large, working-breed mix—likely German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois. He weighs about 75 pounds and is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. It's important to note Bruno has a high prey drive and will not do well in homes with cats or small animals like birds or lizards. He can coexist with dogs his size but needs a slow, trainer-led transitional process. Any adopter must have a meeting with his trainer (Los Angeles area) before taking Bruno home. This is not a dog for beginners. Bruno absolutely requires an experienced handler committed to daily physical and mental exercise—think brisk 2-3 mile walks and regular command practice.
