About Lou Lou
Lou Lou almost didn't get the chance to grow old. This sweet senior cattle dog was facing euthanasia when she was rescued with just days to spare. After a life spent mostly chained outside, Lou Lou now has what she deserves: a warm bed, loving humans, and pleasant walks around the neighborhood. She's housebroken, great with kids, and gets along with other dogs. Lou Lou has a calm demeanor that makes her an especially lovely companion. Although she is blind in one eye, it doesn't hinder her spirit or her important neighborhood-watch duties. She's known to alert her humans with amusing enthusiasm when something outside needs her attention, sometimes sending a couch pillow flying in the process. Currently looking for a new home, Lou Lou had an unfortunate incident where she injured a barn cat in her previous adoption. While she once lived happily with cats, we are seeking a cat-free environment for her moving forward. Beyond this, everyone speaks highly of her gentle nature and loving personality. Lou Lou is also heartworm positive, but her treatment is fully covered. After a tough start, she deserves to know what a true home feels likeโone with safety, love, and comfort. She doesnโt require perfection, just a place where she can finally belong for good. Are you the one to give Lou Lou her happily ever after?
