With a past that remains a mystery, he takes time to warm up, preferring a slow approach to new people and dogs. Those who go at his pace will find a loyal companion waiting just below the surface, eager to bond. Onyx thrives as the only dog, soaking up all the affection he can get. If there’s another dog, thoughtful introductions are key to his comfort. It's best for Onyx to live in a home with children over 8, as he’s still building his confidence. Enjoying his daily walks, Onyx is crate trained and has excellent house manners. He eagerly knows commands like sit, shake, and down, patiently sitting for meals and treats without any fuss. When it’s time to unwind, he can be found happily chewing on a bone or exploring toys, learning just how delightful life can be. This handsome fellow doesn’t need rescuing; he simply wants someone to believe in him. Trust is built slowly, and Onyx is looking for a family that celebrates every small victory. If you’re in search of a loyal best friend and can offer the patience he deserves, Onyx can’t wait to show you a love like no other. His future is bright—he just needs the right family to help him shine.
