About Chef Boyardee
Chef Boyardee joined us after a whirlwind of events. He ran in front of a car one morning, leash trailing behind him. After reuniting him with his owner through his microchip, it was only a day later that I learned they could no longer keep him. And just like that, he became an Oasis dog. This big, goofy, loveable Labradoodle has had quite a bit of change lately. He gets along well with other dogs but prefers having one special canine companion over a large pack. Chef is not a fan of cats; he thrives in a feline-free environment. Completely house trained, he knows commands like sit and shake. When Chef walks, he does it beautifully on a leash, delighted to explore with his human. He's a classic Velcro dog, meaning he craves closeness and personal space isn't really his thing. Currently, he's working on crate training and some separation anxiety. But let’s be honest, who hasn’t felt anxious lately? He’ll thrive with someone committed to offering him the consistency and reassurance he may be missing. Aside from some minor challenges, Chef is a wonderful dog who is ready to love and be loved in return. He’s not seeking perfection; he wants someone who will be there for him as he evolves into the best version of himself. Chef Boyardee is neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, and he is eager to find his forever home. He sped into my life unexpectedly, and now we're hoping the right person will find him.
