Meet Lucas, also known as Jumping Jack! This charming little guy, weighing in at just 10 pounds, brings joy wherever he hops. Abandoned along with six other Chihuahuas in Puerto Rico, Lucas is now thriving thanks to the kind folks at Hacienda de Sato Amor. Fully vetted and ready for adoption, he’s being fostered at Heaven Can Wait in Congers, NY. At first, Lucas might be a bit timid in new surroundings, but with a little patience, his bubbly personality shines through. He becomes bouncy and playful, especially when you come home or meal time rolls around. When he’s not in performance mode, Lucas enjoys the quieter side of life, curling up for naps and soaking in love. He’s a delightful mix, likely a Rat Terrier and Chihuahua, which gives him a sweet and gentle disposition. Lucas is house-trained and well-behaved in the car and crate. He’s also great with kids and dogs of all sizes. His calm nature makes him easy to care for, and he deserves a home where he can feel safe and loved. Could you be the one to give Lucas the forever home he’s been dreaming of? Every small dog can leave a huge mark on your heart. Click apply to start the adoption process.
