About Tyler Hospice <
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Left behind and alone, this gentle senior boy is searching for someone to heal his broken heart. Tyler is a sweet and sensitive mixed-breed Chihuahua/Rat Terrier who found himself at animal control and was never reclaimed. Although his hearing and sight are fading, he forms close bonds with those who show him kindness and enjoys short walks and affection. Recently, Tyler’s medical evaluation revealed a heart murmur and advanced heart disease. While not yet in heart failure, he requires three long-term medications to help maintain his health for as long as possible. It's uncertain how much time he has, but his spirit remains bright. Tyler would flourish in a quiet, loving home where he can retire in peace and comfort. He would prefer to be the only pet or to have a private area away from other animals. If you feel your home could be his sanctuary for his golden years, consider meeting this special companion at Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
