About Andy

Andy’s journey began in a challenging situation, having been rescued from a homeless encampment where he faced severe neglect. Initially, he arrived at the rescue malnourished and suffering from flea infestations and tapeworms. Thankfully, Andy has made significant progress. This friendly little guy, a mix of Dachshund and Miniature Pinscher, weighs around 7 lbs and has a short coat accented with a striking black and bicolor pattern. He’s around a year old and shows the enthusiasm of youth. Andy thrives in the company of other dogs, getting along wonderfully with the 15 canines at the rescue. He has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, with a clean bill of health regarding heartworm. Andy is house trained and can happily join a household with kids. He is ready for a loving new home and can be adopted separately from his friend Jonah. Applications are available at kathisk9s.org, and meet-and-greets are arranged for approved applicants only.
