About Doppler

Meet Doppler! This adorable, sleek black kitten has a touching story that tugged at our hearts. Initially, he was scared, keeping to himself and observing from a distance. He wasn't convinced that humans were to be trusted. But in his last week of foster care, things changed dramatically. Doppler suddenly realized that maybe friendship wasn't such a bad idea after all. He embraced food, toys, and even climbed onto his human, soaking up affection while being pet during meals—a remarkable change for such a timid fellow. Doppler may still take a moment to adjust when he moves to a new home, and that’s perfectly okay. Patience will be key. He needs space to decompress and the comfort of good food and toys. With time, he will show you the joyful, silly side that he has been keeping hidden. There’s a wonderful little black cat waiting to shine when given the chance to feel safe. Doppler is in Belleville, MI. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
