About Alaska

Meet Alaska. Alaska found a second chance at life after being saved from euthanasia at Dallas Animal Services. Despite the neglect he's faced, this senior dog remains filled with a lovely spirit. About 12 years old, he’s heartworm negative and enjoys leisurely strolls. He loves relaxing in a soft bed and is always eager for belly rubs—this boy is a big mush! Alaska gets along with all animals, making him a great companion for any household. He's crate trained and even enjoys a slow game of fetch, although his speed is more like molasses these days due to his back legs not being as strong. He needs a patient adopter who can let him take his time moving around. Now located in Danbury, CT, this gentle senior truly deserves a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort and kindness. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
