About Cinnamon

Meet Cinnamon! She’s a happy, young German Shepherd who made her way from California to Saugerties, NY and is now soaking up her foster home while waiting for a forever family. Cinnamon is about a year old, with a sweet and lively personality. She has a real love for people and is playful with other dogs. Kids are no problem—she’s gentle and does well with them. But Cinnamon isn’t cat-friendly, so no cats, please. Cinnamon is high energy and will thrive in a home where someone can give her plenty of activity, adventure, and mental stimulation. She’s living with hip dysplasia and will be seeing a specialist, but she doesn’t let it get in the way of fun—Cinnamon plays, runs, and seems to wake up every day in a good mood. She’s been started on supportive supplements and meds to keep her comfortable. Cinnamon is house trained, spayed, and her vaccinations are current. What she really needs now is a family who won’t see just her diagnosis, but will celebrate her spirit and give her the love she deserves. Your new best friend is just one click away.
