Meet KODA! Koda is a delightful 5-month-old Husky mix weighing in at 27 lbs. Her mom, Alaska, is a Husky mix, giving Koda that signature look with striking blue eyes. Everyone says she’s the sweetest puppy around—she’s playful, cuddly, and smart, embodying the happy-go-lucky spirit typical for her age. Compared to her sister Nova, Koda is slightly calmer, making her a well-balanced companion. She's being fostered with other dogs and gets along wonderfully with them. Running around in the yard with her mom and sister is one of her favorite pastimes. Koda would be a fantastic friend for another dog but can also thrive as a solo pup if her forever family can dedicate time to her. Though she’s seen some stray cats, Koda has only barked at them from a distance—curiosity getting the better of her. With the right introduction, she is likely to do well with cats, especially given her young, adaptable nature. She’s great with everyone she meets, from men to women, and although she hasn’t been around kids yet, her age suggests she'd be integrated into a family with respectful children without a hitch. Her foster has begun leash training and she’s doing well but might benefit from some brushing up on her walking etiquette. Koda sleeps soundly through the night and is okay being crated if needed. Her journey began with a dedicated advocate in Puerto Rico who rescued her along with her mom and sister from a dangerous situation on the road. They willingly hopped into the car and found their way into safe hands. Koda is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready for her forever home. An adoption fee of $500 applies.
