About Donovan
Meet Donovan, a charming 1-2-year-old Bluetick Coonhound who radiates warmth and love. At around 75 pounds, he's a big bundle of joy with a touching backstory. Left behind after his owner's house burned down, Donovan was fed by kind-hearted locals for months, too scared for anyone to catch him. Thanks to the dedication of one local woman, who slowly won his trust, he’s now in a loving foster home. Donovan is affectionate, playful, and eager to be close to his people. He gets along well with other dogs and holds a curious attitude toward cats, although he can be a bit shy when meeting new faces. He’s still building confidence on the leash and would thrive with a patient family willing to support him. Fully house trained, Donovan is trusted to roam freely in his foster home when his foster mom is away. He loves to cuddle and can often be found near the resident dog or in his own cozy bed just outside the bedroom. His gentle demeanor makes him a perfect candidate for a comforting home. After everything he has been through, Donovan deserves a loving family where he’ll never feel abandoned again. He’s ready to give unconditional love, plenty of snuggles, and endless companionship.
