About Rocky

Meet Rocket, a strikingly handsome boy who embodies an easygoing spirit. At around 3 years old and roughly 60 pounds, he primarily showcases the characteristics of an Australian Cattle Dog. Coming from the Navajo Nation, his genetics might include a few mystery breeds, adding a delightful twist to his personality. Rocket possesses the intelligence, loyalty, and devotion typical of Cattle Dogs, making him a great companion. His relaxed demeanor allows him to fit seamlessly into any home environment. Rocket thrives on companionship, happily living with both a large male hound and a female Cattle Dog. He enjoys playing with his canine friends but can also be content as a solo pet—he’s definitely not a dog with a demanding social schedule. House trained and proficient on a leash, Rocket loves daily walks and appreciates frequent bathroom breaks via a dog door. He sleeps soundly on his dog bed at night and balances his playfulness with a love for simply lounging around. His foster family has discovered he can be left alone for short periods without needing a crate—just keep the tempting items out of reach. Whether joining you for a hike, a stroll, a romp at the park, or cuddling on the couch, Rocket is always ready for the adventure you present. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who really shines in person, Rocket is your guy. You can start the adoption process with him if you're ready to welcome this sweet dog into your life.
