About Toby

Meet Toby, a charming 2-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix ready to find a new home! With his tan and white coat, he’s not just a pretty face—he’s full of personality too. Toby is neutered and up to date on vaccinations, making him a healthy addition to any family. Toby has lived harmoniously with young children and has a sweet disposition with people of all ages. While he’s friendly, it's important to supervise interactions, especially when it comes to meal times as he may guard his food when other dogs are present. For homes with resident dogs, a meet-and-greet is necessary to ensure compatibility. Special care is suggested for his veterinary visits, where a muzzle may be needed due to past sensitivities to handling and needles. However, Toby is well-trained: he knows sit, paw, and other basic commands, and he’s reportedly housetrained and kennel trained. Toby thrives in environments where someone understands the needs of his breed, as he has medium to high energy levels and will benefit from regular exercise and mental stimulation. This goofy, playful companion is looking for a patient home willing to guide him as he settles in. If you’re ready to welcome a silly, sweet pup into your life, consider meeting Toby! He’s waiting for someone who can appreciate his lively spirit and give him the structure and love he deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
