About Fossil
Meet Fossil, the remarkable 16-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. We say 16 for a reason: she's more historical artifact than just a senior dog, and she’s got the personality to prove it. This tiny 7-pound bundle of sass was found roaming the streets of Texas, making her way all the way to Wisconsin. Fossil is learning about sweaters for dogs and has a curiosity about the winter season that’s coming. She might look like she’s retired, but don’t be fooled; she has sudden bursts of energy, especially at night. Fossil isn’t just about cozy naps; she also enjoys a bit of adventure in the fenced yard and loves her human companionship. Over her years, she’s gathered quite the collection of experiences and knows that a little roast beef is a treasure. While she’s had quite a few teeth removed, it hasn't dampened her spirit. She needs daily eye drops but is in good health otherwise. She gets along well with other pets but might prefer the company of older, gentle kids who understand her delicate nature. At 7 pounds, she’s a bit too fragile for young children. And when it comes to bathroom habits, Fossil thinks rules are merely suggestions, especially at her age. She’s still figuring out the potty training scene but uses pee pads when reminded. Fossil seeks a loving home where she can enjoy her remaining chapters surrounded by warmth, cozy sweaters, and of course, someone to remind her about those eye drops. Could that be you? Let’s make this winter a comfy one for Fossil! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
