About Pez

Meet Pez! This 12-pound powerhouse is a whirlwind of love and joy, boasting a big personality housed in a small Chihuahua mix frame. At just 1.5 years old, Pez is part Chihuahua and possibly part Dachshund, giving him those adorable Chiweenie vibes. He might be small, but his heart is monumental, bursting with charm that captivates everyone he meets. Pez is a friendly companion and a real Velcro dog. Once you earn his trust, he will be right by your side, making you his permanent shadow. His backstory is quite the adventure: he was discovered under an abandoned house by sheriff deputies training their K9s. While he dreamed of being the world’s tiniest police dog, he’s settled for being an extraordinary friend instead! At home, Pez thrives alongside large dogs in his foster family, proving that size is no obstacle to friendship. He’s house trained, crate trained, and knows how to walk on a leash like a pro. Outdoor adventures are his favorite, whether it’s going for walks or riding in the car. Pez loves toys—balls, squeaky toys, you name it. His ideal home includes a generous toy basket for all his treasures. And when he’s not busy exploring or playing, Pez transforms into a professional cuddler, seeking warmth and companionship with his favorite humans and dog friends. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped, ready for a family to call his own. So, are you looking for a pint-sized friend with a gigantic heart? Pez can’t wait to meet you! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
