Cody is an adorable Chiweenie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves spending cozy evenings cuddled up beside you, happily watching your favorite shows before snuggling close all night. Toys are his jam, and he thinks playtime with his dog friends is the best thing ever! After completing three weeks of board-and-train, Cody walks nicely on a leash, is house trained, fully vaccinated, and neutered. He enjoys playing with similarly sized dogs but prefers to avoid larger ones. A cat-free home is a must since he does best without feline friends. Cody isnāt particularly fond of strangersāheās devoted to his family and isnāt interested in making new pals. Once he chooses you as his person, get ready for unwavering loyalty! Cody does have a special need that his forever family needs to be aware of. Coming from an abusive background, he developed claustrophobia and cannot be crated. His new family will need to commit to never using a crate with him. Thankfully, Cody has found a solution for potty time; he happily uses a doggy door to take himself outside, meaning accidents in the house are a rarity. A secure doggy door and fenced yard are essential for Cody's comfort. Cody is dedicated to his role as the neighborhood watch captain, keeping an eye on every squirrel, delivery driver, and suspicious activity outside. Despite his past, Cody is loving, playful, and incredibly affectionate. He doesnāt seek perfectionājust a patient family that understands his history and respects his boundaries.
