Gus is a calm and loving German Shorthaired Pointer who has a heartwarming story to share. After being turned loose for hunting, he returned with a broken leg, enduring months of pain without medical care. Thankfully, he received the surgery he needed, resulting in a rear leg amputation, and now he’s happier than ever. This sweet guy enjoys cuddling on the couch, exploring his backyard, and meeting new friends—canines and humans alike. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is good with children too. Although he's recovering from surgery, he’s not overly energetic, making him a perfect companion for a variety of households. To welcome Gus into your home, be prepared for a fenced yard, and a $250 adoption fee. His loving nature makes him a fantastic addition to any family.
