About Hunter

Meet Hunter! This 6-year-old Boxer and German Shorthaired Pointer mix is as sweet and goofy as they come. Hunter has had quite a journey; originally found as a stray in Georgia, he was adopted by a loving family who wanted to give him a second chance. Unfortunately, due to some resident dogs attacking him, they made the hard decision to find him a new home where he can feel safe. Hunter is a fantastic companion, getting along well with dogs of all sizes, children, and even cats—though he can get a bit excited around them. He's both crate trained and potty trained, and his affectionate nature makes him a joy to have around. Hunter loves to play and enjoy outdoor adventures, especially by the lake. At 6 years old, he has plenty of energy but is past the puppy antics, making him an easy addition to any family. This boy deserves a forever home where he can truly put down roots. If you're seeking a sweet, goofy, dog-friendly buddy, Hunter is ready to meet you!
