Hilaria is an 8-month-old, 35-pound Boxer mix with a bright mind, a loving heart, and a playful spirit. This lovely young dog seeks a home that understands her needs, offering the structure, exercise, and guidance necessary for her development. Around adults, Hilaria is respectful of boundaries and shows a sweet, easygoing side. She learns quickly, responding well when given direction. She’s already making great strides in house training and has learned to alert her humans when she needs to go outside. Playtime is when Hilaria truly shines. She loves her flirt stick and rope toys, keeping games going for an hour or more. After a good play session, she settles down nicely, welcoming belly rubs and downtime with her people. She's a good car rider and enjoys being with her humans. Being a young puppy, Hilaria still has some growing up to do. She has an alpha personality and enjoys rough play, which isn't suitable for every dog. If there’s another dog at home, a meet-and-greet is essential. Hilaria isn't currently a good match for homes with very young children, as she views them as playthings. She may do well with teenagers, though.
