About Archie
Meet Archie. This sweet, snuggly baby is a 16-week-old miniature poodle weighing in at 13 pounds, and he’s still growing! Archie has an adorable little lick of white on his chin that makes him even more charming. He came into rescue after a commercial breeder surrendered him and his brothers when they didn’t sell. Their loss is definitely our gain! He’s a delightful mix of cuddly and playful. Archie is currently in foster care with other dogs and gets along well with everyone, though his puppy exuberance might be a bit much for a senior dog. He relishes running in the yard and playing with toys, but he’s equally content to snuggle up next to his foster mom while she works. So far, he’s proven to be an excellent car rider. Archie is working on leash training and house-training—his new family will need to continue with that. When his foster mom goes out or it's bedtime, he goes into his crate. Although he can be vocal, he settles down relatively quickly. Archie is neutered and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Plus, he’s microchipped. A home visit and meet and greet with all household members, including furry friends, is part of the application process. Zoe's House covers a 3-hour radius for dogs that have been neutered. If you're outside that range, please refrain from applying. If you’d like to welcome this snuggly and energetic little boy into your heart, apply today!
