About Griff

Meet Griff, a lively 5-year-old neutered male German Shepherd-Pit mix who's ready to find his forever home. Despite facing some challenges lately, including a tough transition for his family due to personal circumstances, Griff remains a happy and healthy companion. He enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, trail running, and playing fetch, showing off his intelligence with a variety of tricks. Griff's past has left him with some behavioral quirks. Abandoned at a construction site, he arrived needing patience and understanding. He's eager to engage with people and other dogs but requires a structured routine to feel safe. With prior training, he has become more confident, but sudden encounters with strangers or off-leash dogs can still be overwhelming for him. His ideal adopters will be reactive-dog savvy and lead an active lifestyle. While he has successfully lived with other dogs and enjoys their company, he is not recommended for homes with children or cats. If you believe you can provide Griff with the engaging and structured environment he needs, please reach out. He’s located in Stagecoach, NV, and his family is willing to travel for the right match.
