Cindy Lou is a small, spayed female dog approximately 2 years old. She is house trained, up to date on vaccinations, and has a playful, affectionate personality. Currently residing in High Point, NC, she is friendly with dogs and cats. Cindy Lou is full of energy and looking for an active home where she can be a constant companion. While she may have some behavioral training to undergo, her vibrant spirit makes her an entertaining addition to any family.

About Cindy Lou

Meet Cindy Lou! At about 2 years old and 15 pounds, she’s a delightful mix of Pug and who knows what else, sporting long, skinny legs and plenty of energy. Cindy Lou came to us from a mountain county shelter where time was running out for her and her puppies. Now, she’s on the hunt for a forever home that can match her vibrant spirit. Cindy Lou is quick on her feet and incredibly athletic. She needs a secure yard, ideally with a fence at least 5 feet high, as she can easily jump standard gates. Outdoor adventures are a must; she enjoys being with her people, whether it’s hiking or trying out an obstacle course. A leash is a must outside if her new home lacks a fenced yard. Currently house trained, she still requires ongoing behavioral training. Cindy Lou is not a fan of being crated away from her humans and prefers to sleep with them. While she does well with other dogs, she’s really in it for the companionship of people. We suspect she’d be fine with older kids, and with a dog-savvy cat, she might fit in well too, as she prefers to keep a respectful distance. This girl is all about motion and friendship, so an active home with someone who can invest time in training and exercise is essential.
