Meet Kona! This charming 8-month-old shepherd mix is full of energy and personality. She came to us through no fault of her own and is excited to find her forever home. Kona thrives on interaction and does wonderfully with children and other dogs. She's both housetrained and crate trained, although she can be a little mischievous when left out of the crate, so it's best to keep her crated when you’re not home for her safety. Food-motivated and eager to please, Kona adores toys and bones. She's a fan of running and hiking and has already mastered several commands. However, she's got some counter-surfing tendencies that will need attention in her training. While she walks well on a leash, she can be a bit pushy at times.
