About Angel
Meet Angel — a gentle soul still waiting for her miracle. At just a young age, she's already experienced abandonment and heartbreak. Rescued from the streets of Harris County, Texas, Angel found herself in a crowded shelter, where time felt like a ticking clock. Despite her past, she has a soft heart and a sweet disposition. Angel is cautious but leans into gentle affection, seeking comfort from kind humans. However, her past has made her wary, so a calm, patient home is essential for her to build trust over time. Loud noises and sudden movements may overwhelm her, so she’d do best in a home without small children. She walks gracefully on a leash and weighs around 36 pounds—perfect for close snuggles once she feels safe. Currently, she does guard her food bowl, a behavior rooted in survival rather than aggression. With love and understanding, this can improve as she settles into a loving home. Angel is spayed, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She’s ready for a fresh start and needs a companion who will choose patience over pressure. Can you be the one to give Angel the forever home she deserves? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
