About Nimbus

Meet Nimbus! When Nimbus first arrived at the shelter, she was quite the sight—a giant, dreaded mop of fur that hid a stunning dog underneath. An owner surrender, her family simply couldn’t devote time to her. After some much-needed grooming, she emerged as the beautiful dog she is today! Living inside a foster home with a large pack helped Nimbus thrive. She gets along fabulously with dogs of all shapes and sizes but especially enjoys the company of smaller dogs and puppies. They seem to bring her joy and comfort, so we believe Nimbus would be happiest paired with another friendly dog. Nimbus is intelligent and eager to please. She's attentive and quick to learn, showing genuine interest in understanding her person. Fully house trained and kennel trained, she’s ready to transition smoothly into family life. Once committed to a person, Nimbus is incredibly affectionate, forming a close bond and wanting to stay by your side. Her gentle nature makes her a great fit for homes with kids aged 5 and up. At around 40 pounds, Nimbus is currently a bit on the thin side, but with proper food and love, we expect her to gain a healthy weight. After transforming from a matted cloud into a vibrant, loving companion, Nimbus is eager to find her forever home at The Asher House—ideally with a doggy friend. Nimbus’ adoption fee is $295, and she is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Ready to meet Nimbus? Apply today!
