About CoCo

CoCo is ready for adoption! This charming Shih Tzu mix was found as a stray, needing a good grooming when he came to us. Unfortunately, his original owners chose not to reclaim him while trying to find him a new home due to a new baby in the family. He is an exceptionally sweet boy who is friendly with both men and women. CoCo gets along well with five male dogs in his foster home and has even been reported to get along with cats. The question of his potty training is still a bit uncertain. He wears a belly band in his current environment due to the presence of other male dogs who may mark, making it hard to confirm his skills. It’s best to assume he’s not fully house trained and consider the potential for pleasant surprises in a new setting. CoCo isn’t crate-trained and doesn’t like being confined. However, he adapts well to being in a small room, like a bathroom, where he’s shown himself to be quite content. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative, and he’s been professionally groomed. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
