About Slinky

Meet Slinky! Slinky is among the sweetest and most affectionate cats you'll encounter. This charming boy is like a dog in a cat's body—he loves greeting every guest who steps through the door and starts to purr the moment you touch him. He's even known to win over those who claim they're not cat people. At about 4-5 years old, he has a unique look, highlighted by his tiny ears, which resulted from a past ear infection. They may appear to be cut, but they're simply small and add to his distinct charm. Though Slinky is FIV+, don't let that deter you. This condition is often misunderstood; many FIV+ cats lead long, happy lives. FIV is usually transmitted through deep bite wounds, so Slinky can coexist happily with FIV-negative cats. According to the Cornell Feline Health Center, many FIV-positive cats remain asymptomatic for years, and Slinky is one of those healthy, vibrant individuals ready to share his love. He's affectionate, social, and has an easygoing nature, always wanting to be near his people. If you're in search of a cat who will eagerly greet you, charm your guests, and soak up all the affection you offer, then Slinky is your perfect match. Come meet him and see how he can steal your heart in just minutes. His adoption fee of $250 covers transportation, deworming, vaccinations, FEL/FIV testing, spay surgery, and a microchip. Slinky is currently being fostered out of town. Give him a chance, and you may find your new best friend! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
