At just 9 months old, Moises has already faced more hardship than any kitten should. He was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex, where he once stayed close to his two siblings. Tragically, they didn’t survive the dangers of that environment, leaving Moises alone—sick, frightened, and crying out for the family he lost. Life outside didn’t get any easier. Larger cats in the area would bully him away from food and safety, and the presence of raccoons made every day a real danger for a small kitten just trying to survive. He was eventually brought into his current foster home, where he’s finally been able to experience what safety feels like. No more fighting for food. No more hiding in fear. Just a chance to rest, recover, and slowly learn that the world can be kind. Because of everything he’s been through, Moises can be shy at first, but with love and patience, you’ll start to see the real Moises shine through—a gentle, sweet boy who wants love. One of his most endearing traits? His tiny little meows—they sound just like a mouse! Moises gets along well with other cats. With proper introductions, we think he will adjust fine with dogs although he hasn't been around them. He is such a good boy. What Moises needs most is someone who understands that love isn’t always instant—it’s built, gently and patiently, over a little time.
